World English Bible transgressing and denying Yahweh, and turning away from following our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.

Le peuple fait l'énumération de ses péchés. Le premier dont, il parle, c'est l'infidélité envers Jéhova, l'idolâtrie (comparez 57.3-13). Puis viennent les crimes contre le prochain, qu'Esaïe a censurés versets 3 et 4, 58.4 et suivants.

Révolte, contre la loi l'injustice, la violence.
