World English Bible Then he remembered the days of old, Moses and his people, saying, Where is he who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? where is he who put his holy Spirit in their midst?

La traduction d'Ostervald : Alors il (Dieu) s'est souvenu des jours anciens de Moïse... est grammaticalement possible, mais elle est en contradiction avec ce qui suit. C'est le peuple qui, livré à ses ennemis, se souvient des jours d'autrefois et se plaint que Dieu ne lui fasse plus voir ses délivrances.

Le berger : Moïse (Psaumes 77.21). Ostervald, Sacy, traduisent : les pasteurs, d'après plusieurs anciens manuscrits et traductions (la Vulgate, par exemple) ; ce seraient, dans ce cas, Moïse, Aaron et Marie (Michée 6.4).

Qui mit au milieu d'eux son Esprit saint : en tant que cet Esprit agissait en Moïse, Aaron, les soixante-dix anciens, puis en Josué. Comparez Nombres 11.17 ; Néhémie 9.20.
