Esther 4.1

Informé de tout ce qui se passait, Mardochée déchira ses vêtements, se couvrit d'un sac et de cendre, puis sillonna la ville en criant à pleine voix son amertume.
Quand Mardochée apprend ce qui s’est passé, il déchire ses vêtements, il met un habit de deuil et se couvre la tête de cendre. Il sort dans la ville et pousse de grands cris de douleur.

Mardochée manifeste sa volonté d'aider juifs. Dieu gardera ceux qui sont exposés aux assauts du mal, à cause de la pureté de leur conscience.

World English Bible Now when Mordecai found out all that was done, Mordecai tore his clothes, and put on sackcloth with ashes, and went out into the midst of the city, and wailed loudly and a bitterly.
