Ezéchiel 44.25

25 à 27 Prescriptions relatives aux deuils. Comparez Lévitique 21.1-3. On s'est étonné de ne pas trouver la femme du sacrificateur mentionnée parmi les morts pour lesquels le sacrificateur peut contracter la souillure lévitique. La raison de ce fait est simple. On contractait la souillure en entrant dans la maison du mort. Le mari se trouvait donc tout naturellement souillé, en cas de mort de sa femme.

Une sœur qui n'ait point de mari. Dans le cas ou la sœur a un mari, la dispense accordée au sacrificateur en faveur de sa sœur non mariée n'est plus absolument nécessaire.

      1 Yahweh said to Moses, "Speak to the priests, the sons of Aaron, and say to them, 'A priest shall not defile himself for the dead among his people;
      2 except for his relatives that are near to him: for his mother, for his father, for his son, for his daughter, for his brother,
      3 and for his virgin sister who is near to him, who has had no husband; for her he may defile himself.
      4 He shall not defile himself, being a chief man among his people, to profane himself.
      5 "'They shall not shave their heads, neither shall they shave off the corners of their beards, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.
      6 They shall be holy to their God, and not profane the name of their God; for they offer the offerings of Yahweh made by fire, the bread of their God; therefore they shall be holy.

      Lévitique 22

      4 "'Whoever of the seed of Aaron is a leper or has an issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he is clean. Whoever touches anything that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goes from him;

      Ezéchiel 44

      25 They shall go in to no dead person to defile themselves; but for father, or for mother, or for son, or for daughter, for brother, or for sister who has had no husband, they may defile themselves.

      Matthieu 8

      21 Another of his disciples said to him, "Lord, allow me first to go and bury my father."
      22 But Jesus said to him, "Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead."

      Luc 9

      59 He said to another, "Follow me!" But he said, "Lord, allow me first to go and bury my father."
      60 But Jesus said to him, "Leave the dead to bury their own dead, but you go and announce the Kingdom of God."

      2 Corinthiens 5

      16 Therefore we know no one after the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.

      1 Thessaloniciens 4

      13 But we don't want you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep, so that you don't grieve like the rest, who have no hope.
      14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.
      15 For this we tell you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left to the coming of the Lord, will in no way precede those who have fallen asleep.
