Grec : D'entre les pharisiens, ceux qui étaient avec lui, qui se trouvaient encore là, épiant les paroles de Jésus.

A cause de la sensation produite par cet éclatant miracle, et à la suite de la scène racontée au verset 34, ils sentaient le besoin de l'observer de près.

Ils comprennent que Jésus les désignait comme ceux qui deviennent aveugles ; blessés dans leur orgueil et insensibles au jugement divin que Jésus annonçait, ils lui posent, d'un ton hautain et railleur, cette question : Et nous, sommes-nous aussi aveugles ?
