Comparez 31.11 ; Esaïe 14.16. Il y a ici une assonnance qui rend la pensée plus frappante : donner le repos (irgia) et le trouble (irgiz). Jusqu'ici c'était l'inverse : Babel se reposait sur sa puissance ; et la terre était troublée par l'insatiable ambition de la cité conquérante.
