Mes frères. Eliphaz a parlé au nom des trois (5.27).

Perfides comme un torrent. Au printemps il charrie une neige boueuse (verset 16) et déborde ; dès que vient le soleil, il se dessèche. Les caravanes qui aperçoivent le lit d'un ruisseau et se détournent de leur chemin dans l'espoir d'y trouver de l'eau, sont misérablement déçues et meurent de soif (versets 18 à 20).
