20 à 25 Exhortation à persévérer. Doxologie.

Grec : "Vous édifiant vous-mêmes sur ou par (datif) votre très sainte foi."

La foi objective, la vérité divine, l'Evangile est le fondement inébranlable sur lequel, ou le moyen par lequel, les croyants s'édifient, (comparez 1Pierre 2.4,5 ; Matthieu 7.24) et cela par opposition aux erreurs et aux corruptions dont il a été parle jusqu'ici. Pour échapper aux influences de l'erreur et en triompher, il faut se nourrir de la sainte vérité.
