Sois... : car cette douleur ne peut t'être épargnée.

Tu vas sortir... Le prophète abandonne l'image, pour annoncer en propres termes la catastrophe.

De la ville : de Jérusalem. Il ne s'agit pas d'une sortie ayant pour but de se rendre à l'ennemi. La ville est censée déjà prise ; ils en sortent captifs, pour être transportés au loin.

Sortir... camper... : description dramatique de la transportation.

Jusqu'à Babylone. Là seulement ils s'arrêteront. L'exil, l'éloignement de la terre à laquelle étaient attachées toutes les promesses de Dieu, est la malédiction dans laquelle se résumaient toutes celles dont la loi menaçait Israël infidèle (Lévitique 26.28). Michée est d'accord avec Esaïe 39.6 pour désigner Babylone comme le lieu de l'exil. Il est le premier des prophètes à la nommer en cette qualité. Il ne dit pas par qui (les Chaldéens ou les Assyriens) il y sera conduit, ni quand ce jugement s'accomplira.

Là, tu seras délivrée. En dépit de l'exil, Israël ne peut périr ; l'Eternel le sauvera. Le terme rachètera indique qu'Israël aura été livré en la puissance des païens et comme vendu à eux par l'Eternel. Comparez Esaïe 50.1-2.
