Et tes frères aussi, la tribu de Lévi. Les Lévites doivent être associés au travail des sacrificateurs dans les limites de leurs fonctions et seront aussi responsables dans cette mesure. Leur tâche consiste à servir et à garder (3.8).

Qu'ils te soient adjoints (en hébreu illavou) : allusion au sens du nom de Lévi (Genèse 29.34, note).
