Le vent pourrait représenter la tempête qui les emportera à la ruine ; mais le temps du verbe indique plutôt un fait passé. Le prophète pense sans doute à cet esprit d'impureté et d'idolâtrie dont il a été parlé au verset 12. Le mot hébreu signifie à la fois vent et esprit.
