    • Marc 15

      1 Dès le matin, les chefs des prêtres tinrent conseil avec les anciens, les spécialistes de la loi et tout le sanhédrin. Après avoir attaché Jésus, ils l'emmenèrent et le livrèrent à Pilate.
      2 Pilate l'interrogea : « Es-tu le roi des Juifs ? » Jésus lui répondit : « Tu le dis. »
      3 Les chefs des prêtres portaient contre lui beaucoup d'accusations.
      4 Pilate l'interrogea de nouveau : « Ne réponds-tu rien ? Vois tous les témoignages qu'ils portent contre toi. »
      5 Mais Jésus ne répondit plus rien, ce qui étonna Pilate.
      6 A chaque fête, il relâchait un prisonnier, celui que le peuple réclamait.
      7 Il y avait en prison le dénommé Barabbas avec ses complices, pour un meurtre qu'ils avaient commis lors d'une émeute.
      8 La foule se mit à demander à grands cris ce qu'il avait l’habitude de leur accorder.
      9 Pilate leur répondit : « Voulez-vous que je vous relâche le roi des Juifs ? »
      10 En effet, il savait que c'était par jalousie que les chefs des prêtres avaient fait arrêter Jésus.
      11 Cependant, les chefs des prêtres excitèrent la foule afin que Pilate leur relâche plutôt Barabbas.
      12 Pilate reprit la parole et leur dit : « Que voulez-vous donc que je fasse de celui que vous appelez le roi des Juifs ? »
      13 Ils crièrent de nouveau : « Crucifie-le ! »
      14 « Quel mal a-t-il fait ? » leur dit Pilate. Ils crièrent encore plus fort : « Crucifie-le ! »
      15 Voulant satisfaire la foule, Pilate leur relâcha Barabbas et, après avoir fait fouetter Jésus, il le livra à la crucifixion.
      16 Les soldats conduisirent Jésus à l'intérieur de la cour, c'est-à-dire dans le prétoire, et ils rassemblèrent toute la troupe.
      17 Ils lui mirent un habit pourpre et posèrent sur sa tête une couronne d'épines qu'ils avaient tressée.
      18 Puis ils se mirent à le saluer : « Salut, roi des Juifs ! »
      19 Ils lui frappaient la tête avec un roseau, crachaient sur lui et se mettaient à genoux pour se prosterner devant lui.
      20 Après s'être ainsi moqués de lui, ils lui enlevèrent l’habit pourpre, lui remirent ses vêtements et l'emmenèrent pour le crucifier.
      21 Ils forcèrent un passant qui revenait des champs à porter la croix de Jésus. C’était Simon de Cyrène, le père d'Alexandre et de Rufus.
      22 Ils conduisirent Jésus à l'endroit appelé Golgotha, ce qui signifie « lieu du crâne ».
      23 Ils lui donnèrent [à boire] du vin mêlé de myrrhe, mais il ne le prit pas.
      24 Ils le crucifièrent, puis ils se partagèrent ses vêtements en tirant au sort pour savoir ce que chacun aurait.
      25 C'était neuf heures du matin quand ils le crucifièrent.
      26 L'inscription indiquant le motif de sa condamnation portait ces mots : « Le roi des Juifs ».
      27 Ils crucifièrent avec lui deux brigands, l'un à sa droite et l'autre à sa gauche.
      28 [Ainsi fut accompli ce que dit l'Ecriture : Il a été compté parmi les criminels. ]
      29 Les passants l'insultaient et secouaient la tête en disant : « Hé ! toi qui détruis le temple et qui le reconstruis en trois jours,
      30 sauve-toi toi-même, descends de la croix ! »
      31 Les chefs des prêtres, avec les spécialistes de la loi, se moquaient aussi entre eux et disaient : « Il en a sauvé d'autres et il ne peut pas se sauver lui-même !
      32 Que le Messie, le roi d'Israël, descende maintenant de la croix, afin que nous voyions et que nous croyions ! » Ceux qui étaient crucifiés avec lui l'insultaient aussi.
      33 A midi, il y eut des ténèbres sur tout le pays, jusqu'à trois heures de l'après-midi.
      34 Et à trois heures de l'après-midi, Jésus s'écria d'une voix forte : « Eloï, Eloï, lama sabachthani ? » – ce qui signifie : Mon Dieu, mon Dieu, pourquoi m'as-tu abandonné ?
      35 Quelques-uns de ceux qui étaient là, après l'avoir entendu, disaient : « Voici qu'il appelle Elie. »
      36 Et l'un d'eux courut remplir une éponge de vinaigre ; il la fixa à un roseau et lui donna à boire en disant : « Laissez donc, voyons si Elie viendra le descendre de là. »
      37 Cependant, Jésus poussa un grand cri et expira.
      38 Le voile du temple se déchira en deux, depuis le haut jusqu'en bas.
      39 Quand l’officier romain qui se tenait en face de Jésus [entendit son cri et] le vit expirer de cette manière, il dit : « Cet homme était vraiment le Fils de Dieu. »
      40 Il y avait aussi des femmes qui regardaient de loin. Parmi elles étaient Marie de Magdala, Marie, mère de Jacques le jeune et de Joses, ainsi que Salomé,
      41 qui le suivaient et le servaient lorsqu'il était en Galilée, et beaucoup d’autres femmes qui étaient aussi montées avec lui à Jérusalem.
      42 Le soir venu, comme c'était le jour de la préparation, c'est-à-dire la veille du sabbat,
      43 Joseph d'Arimathée arriva. C’était un membre éminent du conseil, qui attendait lui aussi le royaume de Dieu. Il osa se rendre vers Pilate pour demander le corps de Jésus.
      44 Pilate s'étonna qu'il soit déjà mort ; il fit venir l’officier et lui demanda si Jésus était mort depuis longtemps.
      45 Une fois renseigné par l’officier, il fit remettre le corps à Joseph.
      46 Joseph acheta un drap de lin, descendit Jésus de la croix, l'enveloppa dans le drap de lin et le déposa dans un tombeau taillé dans la roche. Puis il roula une pierre à l'entrée du tombeau.
      47 Marie de Magdala et Marie la mère de Joses regardaient où l’on déposait Jésus.

      1 Immediately in the morning the chief priests, with the elders and scribes, and the whole council, held a consultation, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him up to Pilate.
      2 Pilate asked him, "Are you the King of the Jews?" He answered, "So you say."
      3 The chief priests accused him of many things.
      4 Pilate again asked him, "Have you no answer? See how many things they testify against you!"
      5 But Jesus made no further answer, so that Pilate marveled.
      6 Now at the feast he used to release to them one prisoner, whom they asked of him.
      7 There was one called Barabbas, bound with those who had made insurrection, men who in the insurrection had committed murder.
      8 The multitude, crying aloud, began to ask him to do as he always did for them.
      9 Pilate answered them, saying, "Do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?"
      10 For he perceived that for envy the chief priests had delivered him up.
      11 But the chief priests stirred up the multitude, that he should release Barabbas to them instead.
      12 Pilate again asked them, "What then should I do to him whom you call the King of the Jews?"
      13 They cried out again, "Crucify him!"
      14 Pilate said to them, "Why, what evil has he done?" But they cried out exceedingly, "Crucify him!"
      15 Pilate, wishing to please the multitude, released Barabbas to them, and handed over Jesus, when he had flogged him, to be crucified.
      16 The soldiers led him away within the court, which is the Praetorium; and they called together the whole cohort.
      17 They clothed him with purple, and weaving a crown of thorns, they put it on him.
      18 They began to salute him, "Hail, King of the Jews!"
      19 They struck his head with a reed, and spat on him, and bowing their knees, did homage to him.
      20 When they had mocked him, they took the purple off of him, and put his own garments on him. They led him out to crucify him.
      21 They compelled one passing by, coming from the country, Simon of Cyrene, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to go with them, that he might bear his cross.
      22 They brought him to the place called Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, "The place of a skull."
      23 They offered him wine mixed with myrrh to drink, but he didn't take it.
      24 Crucifying him, they parted his garments among them, casting lots on them, what each should take.
      25 It was the third hour, and they crucified him.
      26 The superscription of his accusation was written over him, "THE KING OF THE JEWS."
      27 With him they crucified two robbers; one on his right hand, and one on his left.
      28 The Scripture was fulfilled, which says, "He was numbered with transgressors."
      29 Those who passed by blasphemed him, wagging their heads, and saying, "Ha! You who destroy the temple, and build it in three days,
      30 save yourself, and come down from the cross!"
      31 Likewise, also the chief priests mocking among themselves with the scribes said, "He saved others. He can't save himself.
      32 Let the Christ, the King of Israel, now come down from the cross, that we may see and believe him. " Those who were crucified with him insulted him.
      33 When the sixth hour had come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.
      34 At the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?" which is, being interpreted, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
      35 Some of those who stood by, when they heard it, said, "Behold, he is calling Elijah."
      36 One ran, and filling a sponge full of vinegar, put it on a reed, and gave it to him to drink, saying, "Let him be. Let's see whether Elijah comes to take him down."
      37 Jesus cried out with a loud voice, and gave up the spirit.
      38 The veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom.
      39 When the centurion, who stood by opposite him, saw that he cried out like this and breathed his last, he said, "Truly this man was the Son of God!"
      40 There were also women watching from afar, among whom were both Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome;
      41 who, when he was in Galilee, followed him, and served him; and many other women who came up with him to Jerusalem.
      42 When evening had now come, because it was the Preparation Day, that is, the day before the Sabbath,
      43 Joseph of Arimathaea, a prominent council member who also himself was looking for the Kingdom of God, came. He boldly went in to Pilate, and asked for Jesus' body.
      44 Pilate marveled if he were already dead; and summoning the centurion, he asked him whether he had been dead long.
      45 When he found out from the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph.
      46 He bought a linen cloth, and taking him down, wound him in the linen cloth, and laid him in a tomb which had been cut out of a rock. He rolled a stone against the door of the tomb.
      47 Mary Magdalene and Mary, the mother of Joses, saw where he was laid.

      1 Καὶ εὐθὺς πρωῒ συμβούλιον ποιήσαντες οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς μετὰ τῶν πρεσβυτέρων καὶ γραμματέων καὶ ὅλον τὸ συνέδριον δήσαντες τὸν Ἰησοῦν ἀπήνεγκαν καὶ παρέδωκαν Πιλάτῳ.
      2 καὶ ἐπηρώτησεν αὐτὸν ὁ Πιλᾶτος· Σὺ εἶ ὁ βασιλεὺς τῶν Ἰουδαίων; ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς αὐτῷ λέγει· Σὺ λέγεις.
      3 καὶ κατηγόρουν αὐτοῦ οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς πολλά.
      4 ὁ δὲ Πιλᾶτος πάλιν ἐπηρώτα αὐτὸν λέγων· Οὐκ ἀποκρίνῃ οὐδέν; ἴδε πόσα σου κατηγοροῦσιν.
      5 ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς οὐκέτι οὐδὲν ἀπεκρίθη, ὥστε θαυμάζειν τὸν Πιλᾶτον.
      6 Κατὰ δὲ ἑορτὴν ἀπέλυεν αὐτοῖς ἕνα δέσμιον ὃν παρῃτοῦντο.
      7 ἦν δὲ ὁ λεγόμενος Βαραββᾶς μετὰ τῶν στασιαστῶν δεδεμένος οἵτινες ἐν τῇ στάσει φόνον πεποιήκεισαν.
      8 καὶ ἀναβὰς ὁ ὄχλος ἤρξατο αἰτεῖσθαι καθὼς ἐποίει αὐτοῖς.
      9 ὁ δὲ Πιλᾶτος ἀπεκρίθη αὐτοῖς λέγων· Θέλετε ἀπολύσω ὑμῖν τὸν βασιλέα τῶν Ἰουδαίων;
      10 ἐγίνωσκεν γὰρ ὅτι διὰ φθόνον παραδεδώκεισαν αὐτὸν οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς.
      11 οἱ δὲ ἀρχιερεῖς ἀνέσεισαν τὸν ὄχλον ἵνα μᾶλλον τὸν Βαραββᾶν ἀπολύσῃ αὐτοῖς.
      12 ὁ δὲ Πιλᾶτος πάλιν ἀποκριθεὶς ἔλεγεν αὐτοῖς· Τί οὖν θέλετε ποιήσω ὃν λέγετε τὸν βασιλέα τῶν Ἰουδαίων;
      13 οἱ δὲ πάλιν ἔκραξαν· Σταύρωσον αὐτόν.
      14 ὁ δὲ Πιλᾶτος ἔλεγεν αὐτοῖς· Τί γὰρ ἐποίησεν κακόν; οἱ δὲ περισσῶς ἔκραξαν· Σταύρωσον αὐτόν.
      15 ὁ δὲ Πιλᾶτος βουλόμενος τῷ ὄχλῳ τὸ ἱκανὸν ποιῆσαι ἀπέλυσεν αὐτοῖς τὸν Βαραββᾶν, καὶ παρέδωκεν τὸν Ἰησοῦν φραγελλώσας ἵνα σταυρωθῇ.
      16 Οἱ δὲ στρατιῶται ἀπήγαγον αὐτὸν ἔσω τῆς αὐλῆς, ὅ ἐστιν πραιτώριον, καὶ συγκαλοῦσιν ὅλην τὴν σπεῖραν.
      17 καὶ ἐνδιδύσκουσιν αὐτὸν πορφύραν καὶ περιτιθέασιν αὐτῷ πλέξαντες ἀκάνθινον στέφανον·
      18 καὶ ἤρξαντο ἀσπάζεσθαι αὐτόν· Χαῖρε, βασιλεῦ τῶν Ἰουδαίων·
      19 καὶ ἔτυπτον αὐτοῦ τὴν κεφαλὴν καλάμῳ καὶ ἐνέπτυον αὐτῷ, καὶ τιθέντες τὰ γόνατα προσεκύνουν αὐτῷ.
      20 καὶ ὅτε ἐνέπαιξαν αὐτῷ, ἐξέδυσαν αὐτὸν τὴν πορφύραν καὶ ἐνέδυσαν αὐτὸν τὰ ἱμάτια τὰ ἴδια. καὶ ἐξάγουσιν αὐτὸν ἵνα σταυρώσωσιν αὐτόν.
      21 Καὶ ἀγγαρεύουσιν παράγοντά τινα Σίμωνα Κυρηναῖον ἐρχόμενον ἀπ’ ἀγροῦ, τὸν πατέρα Ἀλεξάνδρου καὶ Ῥούφου, ἵνα ἄρῃ τὸν σταυρὸν αὐτοῦ.
      22 καὶ φέρουσιν αὐτὸν ἐπὶ τὸν Γολγοθᾶν τόπον, ὅ ἐστιν μεθερμηνευόμενον Κρανίου Τόπος.
      23 καὶ ἐδίδουν αὐτῷ ἐσμυρνισμένον οἶνον, ὃς δὲ οὐκ ἔλαβεν.
      24 καὶ σταυροῦσιν αὐτὸν καὶ διαμερίζονται τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ, βάλλοντες κλῆρον ἐπ’ αὐτὰ τίς τί ἄρῃ.
      25 Ἦν δὲ ὥρα τρίτη καὶ ἐσταύρωσαν αὐτόν.
      26 καὶ ἦν ἡ ἐπιγραφὴ τῆς αἰτίας αὐτοῦ ἐπιγεγραμμένη· Ὁ βασιλεὺς τῶν Ἰουδαίων.
      27 καὶ σὺν αὐτῷ σταυροῦσιν δύο λῃστάς, ἕνα ἐκ δεξιῶν καὶ ἕνα ἐξ εὐωνύμων αὐτοῦ.
      29 Καὶ οἱ παραπορευόμενοι ἐβλασφήμουν αὐτὸν κινοῦντες τὰς κεφαλὰς αὐτῶν καὶ λέγοντες· Οὐὰ ὁ καταλύων τὸν ναὸν καὶ οἰκοδομῶν ἐν τρισὶν ἡμέραις,
      30 σῶσον σεαυτὸν καταβὰς ἀπὸ τοῦ σταυροῦ.
      31 ὁμοίως καὶ οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς ἐμπαίζοντες πρὸς ἀλλήλους μετὰ τῶν γραμματέων ἔλεγον· Ἄλλους ἔσωσεν, ἑαυτὸν οὐ δύναται σῶσαι·
      32 ὁ χριστὸς ὁ βασιλεὺς Ἰσραὴλ καταβάτω νῦν ἀπὸ τοῦ σταυροῦ, ἵνα ἴδωμεν καὶ πιστεύσωμεν. καὶ οἱ συνεσταυρωμένοι σὺν αὐτῷ ὠνείδιζον αὐτόν.
      33 Καὶ γενομένης ὥρας ἕκτης σκότος ἐγένετο ἐφ’ ὅλην τὴν γῆν ἕως ὥρας ἐνάτης.
      34 καὶ τῇ ἐνάτῃ ὥρᾳ ἐβόησεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς φωνῇ μεγάλῃ· Ἐλωῒ ἐλωῒ λεμὰ σαβαχθάνι; ὅ ἐστιν μεθερμηνευόμενον Ὁ θεός μου ὁ θεός μου, εἰς τί ἐγκατέλιπές με;
      35 καί τινες τῶν παρεστηκότων ἀκούσαντες ἔλεγον· Ἴδε Ἠλίαν φωνεῖ.
      36 δραμὼν δέ τις καὶ γεμίσας σπόγγον ὄξους περιθεὶς καλάμῳ ἐπότιζεν αὐτόν, λέγων· Ἄφετε ἴδωμεν εἰ ἔρχεται Ἠλίας καθελεῖν αὐτόν.
      37 ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς ἀφεὶς φωνὴν μεγάλην ἐξέπνευσεν.
      38 καὶ τὸ καταπέτασμα τοῦ ναοῦ ἐσχίσθη εἰς δύο ἀπ’ ἄνωθεν ἕως κάτω.
      39 ἰδὼν δὲ ὁ κεντυρίων ὁ παρεστηκὼς ἐξ ἐναντίας αὐτοῦ ὅτι οὕτως ἐξέπνευσεν εἶπεν· Ἀληθῶς οὗτος ὁ ἄνθρωπος υἱὸς θεοῦ ἦν.
      40 Ἦσαν δὲ καὶ γυναῖκες ἀπὸ μακρόθεν θεωροῦσαι, ἐν αἷς καὶ Μαρία ἡ Μαγδαληνὴ καὶ Μαρία ἡ Ἰακώβου τοῦ μικροῦ καὶ Ἰωσῆτος μήτηρ καὶ Σαλώμη,
      41 αἳ ὅτε ἦν ἐν τῇ Γαλιλαίᾳ ἠκολούθουν αὐτῷ καὶ διηκόνουν αὐτῷ, καὶ ἄλλαι πολλαὶ αἱ συναναβᾶσαι αὐτῷ εἰς Ἱεροσόλυμα.
      42 Καὶ ἤδη ὀψίας γενομένης, ἐπεὶ ἦν παρασκευή, ὅ ἐστιν προσάββατον,
      43 ἐλθὼν Ἰωσὴφ ὁ ἀπὸ Ἁριμαθαίας εὐσχήμων βουλευτής, ὃς καὶ αὐτὸς ἦν προσδεχόμενος τὴν βασιλείαν τοῦ θεοῦ, τολμήσας εἰσῆλθεν πρὸς τὸν Πιλᾶτον καὶ ᾐτήσατο τὸ σῶμα τοῦ Ἰησοῦ.
      44 ὁ δὲ Πιλᾶτος ἐθαύμασεν εἰ ἤδη τέθνηκεν, καὶ προσκαλεσάμενος τὸν κεντυρίωνα ἐπηρώτησεν αὐτὸν εἰ πάλαι ἀπέθανεν·
      45 καὶ γνοὺς ἀπὸ τοῦ κεντυρίωνος ἐδωρήσατο τὸ πτῶμα τῷ Ἰωσήφ.
      46 καὶ ἀγοράσας σινδόνα καθελὼν αὐτὸν ἐνείλησεν τῇ σινδόνι καὶ ἔθηκεν αὐτὸν ἐν μνημείῳ ὃ ἦν λελατομημένον ἐκ πέτρας, καὶ προσεκύλισεν λίθον ἐπὶ τὴν θύραν τοῦ μνημείου.
      47 ἡ δὲ Μαρία ἡ Μαγδαληνὴ καὶ Μαρία ἡ Ἰωσῆτος ἐθεώρουν ποῦ τέθειται.
