La grâce est aussi puissante que la violence, et même l'honneur attribué à celle-là vaut mieux que les richesses obtenues par celle-ci (22.1). Remarquez l'opposition frappante qu'il y a entre cette personne du sexe faible qui conquiert par sa seule grâce tous les suffrages, et ces hommes, plus ou moins nombreux, qui mettent en jeu toutes sortes de moyens violents et n'obtiennent que des richesses éphémères.
