L'affligé. Celui qu'une grande douleur a frappé au plus profond de son être, reçût-il ensuite de la vie toutes les joies et toutes les faveurs, restera triste. Et, vice versa, quand le cœur est satisfait, la joie ne peut être altérée par rien. Tout dépend donc du cœur, et non pas des circonstances extérieures.
