L'homme au regard bienveillant sera béni parce qu'il donne de son pain au plus faible.

L'homme. bienveillant, littéralement : l'homme bon d'œil, celui dont l'œil reflète les sentiments d'un cœur affectueux. L'expression opposée se trouve 23.6 ; 28.22 : celui qui a l'œil mauvais. Voir aussi Matthieu 20.15.
