2 à 8 Le Dieu d'Israël et les dieux des nations.

Où est leur Dieu ? Cette question, qui pourrait être suggérée aux peuples païens par l'état d'abaissement d'Israël, devient pour le psalmiste l'occasion de proclamer avec force la toute-puissance de l'Eternel et l'absolue impuissance des idoles.
