Psaumes 23.3

Il restaure mon âme, et me conduit pour l'amour de son Nom, par des sentiers unis.
Il me redonne des forces, il me conduit dans les sentiers de la justice à cause de son nom.
il me rend des forces, il me guide sur le bon chemin, pour montrer sa gloire.

Il restaure, littéralement : il fait revenir mon âme.

Sentiers unis, littéralement : sentiers de justice, le mot de justice, en hébreu, signifiant : ce qui est droit. Pour s'en tenir à l'image du psaume, il faut voir ici un sentier bien tracé. Mais l'application morale et spirituelle de l'image saute aux yeux (Ephésiens 2.10).

A cause de son nom. La bonne réputation du berger est engagée à ce qu'il conduise bien son troupeau.
