Dieu a parlé. La seule chose qui ne soit pas vanité, c'est ce que Dieu a dit. Or il a parlé, et même assez souvent pour qu'il n'y ait pas d'incertitude à cet égard.

Une fois, deux fois : comparez Job 33.11 ; 39.38. Dieu parle par ses œuvres, aussi bien que par sa révélation proprement dite ; et quiconque veut entendre, recueille de ce langage divin cette grande leçon que toute force réelle procède de Dieu et de Lui seul.
