Psaumes 68.29

Ton Dieu a ordonné ta force. Donne force, ô Dieu ; c'est toi qui nous as fait ceci.
Or, ton Dieu a décidé de t’accorder de la force pour affermir ce que tu as fait pour nous.
Ô Dieu, commande selon ta puissance, cette puissance qui a fait pour nous tant de choses !

Ton Dieu... Ce n'est pas toi qui as remporté la victoire, ô Israël, c'est ton Dieu, par l'ordre duquel tu as été rendu fort. Mais ce n'est là qu'un commencement de l'œuvre divine. Israël demande que cette œuvre se continue et s'achève.

Une pressante invitation est donnée à ceux qui ne rejoignent pas l'église. Certains, par crainte, se soumettront ; interpelés par leur conscience et par les démonstrations de la providence divine, ils voudront avoir la paix au cœur en rejoignant l'église. D'autres se soumettront volontairement et directement, comme aux versets Psaumes 68:29,31. Il y a de la beauté et un bénéfice dans le service de Dieu et dans l'annonce de l'évangile de Christ qui est parti à l'origine de Jérusalem ; cet évangile est assez puissant pour interpeler les pécheurs de toutes les nations.

      11 It shall happen, when your days are fulfilled that you must go to be with your fathers, that I will set up your seed after you, who shall be of your sons; and I will establish his kingdom.
      12 He shall build me a house, and I will establish his throne forever.

      20 David said to Solomon his son, "Be strong and courageous, and do it. Don't be afraid, nor be dismayed; for Yahweh God, even my God, is with you. He will not fail you, nor forsake you, until all the work for the service of the house of Yahweh is finished.
      21 Behold, there are the divisions of the priests and the Levites, for all the service of God's house. There shall be with you in all kinds of work every willing man who has skill, for any kind of service. Also the captains and all the people will be entirely at your command."

      21 I, even I Artaxerxes the king, do make a decree to all the treasurers who are beyond the River, that whatever Ezra the priest, the scribe of the law of the God of heaven, shall require of you, it be done with all diligence,
      22 to one hundred talents of silver, and to one hundred measures of wheat, and to one hundred baths of wine, and to one hundred baths of oil, and salt without prescribing how much.
      23 Whatever is commanded by the God of heaven, let it be done exactly for the house of the God of heaven; for why should there be wrath against the realm of the king and his sons?
      24 Also we inform you, that touching any of the priests and Levites, the singers, porters, Nethinim, or servants of this house of God, it shall not be lawful to impose tribute, custom, or toll, on them.

      27 Blessed be Yahweh, the God of our fathers, who has put such a thing as this in the king's heart, to beautify the house of Yahweh which is in Jerusalem;
      28 and has extended loving kindness to me before the king, and his counselors, and before all the king's mighty princes. I was strengthened according to the hand of Yahweh my God on me, and I gathered together out of Israel chief men to go up with me.
