Psaumes 69.7

Que ceux qui espèrent en toi ne soient pas honteux à cause de moi, Seigneur, Eternel, maître de l’univers ! Que ceux qui te cherchent ne rougissent pas à cause de moi, Dieu d’Israël !
Car à cause de toi j'ai porté l'opprobre, la confusion a couvert mon visage.

      Psaumes 22

      6 But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised by the people.
      7 All those who see me mock me. They insult me with their lips. They shake their heads, saying,
      8 "He trusts in Yahweh; let him deliver him. Let him rescue him, since he delights in him."

      11 Herod with his soldiers humiliated him and mocked him. Dressing him in luxurious clothing, they sent him back to Pilate.
