Oui, son salut... Le psalmiste développe à partir de ce verset, en langage prophétique et sous d'admirables images, le contenu de ce décret divin dont il vient de parler et qui est renfermé tout entier en germe dans le mot schalom (paix) du verset 9. Le salut, qui semble si éloigné, est près, et son premier effet sera de remplacer la dévastation et la désolation par la gloire, signe de la présence de Dieu au milieu de son peuple. Puis toutes les vertus célestes qui doivent habiter au milieu des hommes et attirer la bénédiction d'en-haut sur un pays sont représentées comme venant se fixer en Israël après une longue absence. Cette personnification de la justice, de la vérité, etc., rappelle Esaïe 32.16 ; 45.8, etc.
