Dieu est glorifié dans son univers de grâce. (Psaumes 65:1-5)
Dans son univers de providence. (Psaumes 65:6-13)

Toute la louange que le Seigneur reçoit de la terre provient de Sion, en tant qu'Esprit de Christ ; elle ne peut être acceptée qu'au travers de Sa personne. La louange manque de mots pour pouvoir exprimer l'immense bonté de Dieu. Il se révèle Lui-même sur Son trône de miséricorde, prêt à entendre et à répondre aux prières de ceux qui viennent à Lui par la foi en Jésus-Christ. Nos péchés nous accablent ; nous ne pouvons prétendre de justification par une conduite vertueuse : pour couvrir nos transgressions, seule Ta grâce est efficace, pour palier à notre vaine tentative de droiture, seule Ta providence pourra nous guider et nous faire éviter la condamnation.

Notons ce que représente le fait d'entrer en communion avec Dieu : c'est converser avec Lui et le considérer comme Celui que nous aimons ; c'est nous engager véritablement dans la religion comme nous le faisons dans les affaires de ce monde.

Observons la manière d'entrer en communion avec Dieu : uniquement par le libre accès à Dieu. Il y a abondance de bonté dans la maison de Dieu et tout ce qui peut satisfaire l'âme ; il y en a assez pour tous, assez pour chacun : tout est disponible et ce sans argent et sans prix.

Par la foi et la prière nous pouvons rester en communion avec Dieu, nous pouvons jouir de son réconfort quel que soit l'endroit où nous nous trouvons. Mais tout cela ne peut s'opérer qu'au travers de Celui qui a été béni, qui approche le Père en tant qu'Avocat muni d'une caution à notre égard, de façon à ce que les pécheurs puissent trouver toute joie spirituelle.
