41 à 43 Cinquième cas : celui d'étrangers, de païens qui, apprenant les merveilles accomplies par l'Eternel, éprouvent le besoin de lui rendre hommage (2Rois 5.1 et suivants ; Actes 8.27). Cette supposition est d'autant plus légitime que la loi admettait les étrangers à présenter des sacrifices à l'Eternel (Nombres 15.14).

A cause de ton nom : parce qu'il aura entendu parler des manifestations éclatantes de la puissance de Jéhova ; exemple : la reine de Séba (10.1).

      Exode 18

      3 At about the ninth hour of the day , he clearly saw in a vision an angel of God coming to him, and saying to him, "Cornelius!"
      4 He, fastening his eyes on him, and being frightened, said, "What is it, Lord?" He said to him, "Your prayers and your gifts to the needy have gone up for a memorial before God.
