Théman : l'un des districts du pays d'Edom. Comparez Amos 1.12 et Genèse 36.11-15. Ce district était renommé pour le grand nombre et la perspicacité de ses sages. Comparez Jérémie 49.7 et Job 2.11, où le plus sage des amis de Job, Eliphaz, est présenté comme venant de Théman.
