לְרֵ֙יחַ֙ שְׁמָנֶ֣יךָ טוֹבִ֔ים שֶׁ֖מֶן תּוּרַ֣ק שְׁמֶ֑ךָ עַל־כֵּ֖ן עֲלָמ֥וֹת אֲהֵבֽוּךָ׃

Ton nom est un parfum. Le nom de la personne, dans la pensée de celui qui le prononce, se confond avec la personne elle-même et rappelle toutes les qualités qui font le charme de cette personne. Notons que le mot parfum (schémen) ressemble beaucoup au mot qui en hébreu signifie nom (schem).

      Exode 30
