Colossiens 2.14-15

Grec : "Il l'a ôtée du milieu, l'ayant clouée à la croix."

Cette obligation contre nous et qui nous était contraire, c'est la loi ; Paul l'indique clairement en rappelant ces ordonnances (Grec : "ces dogmes, décrets," verset 20, note), ces commandements qui nous condamnaient, parce que nous les avons tous violés. Dieu a effacé cette obligation ; comment il l'a fait, par quel acte surtout, c'est ce que Paul indique assez par cette énergique figure : il l'a clouée à la croix. (Comparer pour la pensée générale Ephésiens 2.15, note.)
