Le défilé : la gorge étroite et sauvage, de trois kilomètres de longueur, qui conduit de Micmas à Guéba, aujourd'hui Wady-es-Subeinit (1Samuel 14.4,13).

Guéba : aujourd'hui Jéba, à 10 kilomètres de Jérusalem, dans une plaine fertile (1 Samuel chapitres 13 et 14).

Rama : la résidence de Samuel (1Samuel 7.17) ; aujourd'hui er-Râm, à deux kilomètres à l'ouest de Guéba, non loin de la route de Naplouse à Jérusalem.

Guibéa de Saül : la patrie de, Saül (1Samuel 15.34) ; aujourd'hui probablement Tell-el-Fûl, localité située à mi-chemin entre Rama et Jérusalem, sur une colline élevée d'où l'on aperçoit cette dernière ville.
