Esaïe 54.5

Voici pourquoi : Tu vas avoir pour mari celui qui t’a créée, celui qui a pour nom “le SEIGNEUR de l’univers”. Celui qui te libère, c’est le Dieu saint d’Israël, celui qu’on appelle “le Dieu de toute la terre”.

Ton époux, c'est celui qui t'a formée (littéralement : faite) : il est à la fois ton père et ton époux ! Comment donc pourrait-il te détruire ou te rejeter à toujours ?
