Exposer à Dieu le triste état de la Palestine, c'était le moyen le plus efficace d'obtenir l'exaucement ; aussi est-ce par là que se termine la prière.

Les villes de Canaan sont appelées saintes, parce que tout ce pays est la propriété de Jéhova, un territoire sacré (14.25 ; Psaumes 78.54).

      2 Leave out the court which is outside of the temple, and don't measure it, for it has been given to the nations. They will tread the holy city under foot for forty-two months.
