Equipez-vous... formez un projet. Ce défi s'adresse aux ennemis du peuple de Dieu, ici spécialement aux Assyriens, dont les projets ne viseront à rien moins qu'à la destruction totale de Juda (10.7 et suivants).

Dieu est avec nous, traduction littérale du mot Emmanuel. Cet enfant est le garant de la délivrance.
