Quand le tabernacle muni de tous ses ustensiles fut terminé, il fut érigé et utilisé jusqu'à l'arrivée du peuple en Canaan ; il fut dressé au milieu du camp, conformément aux ordres donnés par Dieu. Ceux qui dans ce monde, ne sont pas établis de manière fixe, ne doivent pas penser être dispensés de pratiquer toute piété ; en fait, chacun de nous, dès notre arrivée ici-bas, est tenu de servir Dieu.

Le tabernacle de l'Éternel était déjà très utile, même dans le désert : en effet, pour la suite de notre séjour sur cette terre, le lieu de culte, quel qu'il soit, nous prépare à aller vers l'au-delà éternel.

Nous devons, à juste titre, prendre garde à ne pas sombrer nous-mêmes dans une forme d'impiété. L'idée que si peu de personnes, parties d'Égypte, ont pu finalement terminer leur périple jusqu'en Canaan, devrait nous inciter à veiller avec soin sur nos âmes, pour le futur, en particulier les jeunes !
