Le sanctuaire céleste, qui est le vrai tabernacle, (Hébreux 9.11) celui où Dieu habite vraiment, est ici opposé au tabernacle fait par la main des hommes. (Hébreux 9.24)

Christ est ministre de ce vrai sanctuaire. Ce terme désigne la même fonction que celle de sacrificateur.

Comme Exode 33.7 rapporte que Moïse "dressa la tente," notre auteur dit que l'Eternel lui-même a dressé le tabernacle céleste.
