Jérémie 34.10

Toutes les autorités et la population de Jérusalem avaient participé à cet accord solennel, et avaient accepté de ne plus faire travailler les hommes et les femmes qu’ils avaient eus comme esclaves mais de les renvoyer libres. Chacun avait obéi à cet accord et avait laissé partir ses esclaves.

      12 he went down into the king's house, into the scribe's room: and behold, all the princes were sitting there, Elishama the scribe, and Delaiah the son of Shemaiah, and Elnathan the son of Achbor, and Gemariah the son of Shaphan, and Zedekiah the son of Hananiah, and all the princes.
      24 They were not afraid, nor tore their garments, neither the king, nor any of his servants who heard all these words.
      25 Moreover Elnathan and Delaiah and Gemariah had made intercession to the king that he would not burn the scroll; but he would not hear them.

      Jérémie 38

      4 Then the princes said to the king, "Please let this man be put to death; because he weakens the hands of the men of war who remain in this city, and the hands of all the people, in speaking such words to them: for this man doesn't seek the welfare of this people, but the hurt."
