Josué 10.36

Hébron : voir Genèse 13.18.

Son roi : le fils du roi qui avait été tué à Makkéda, et auquel il avait immédiatement succédé. Cette expédition avait pris un certain temps. Une partie des villes dont la prise est ici racontée restèrent la propriété des Israélites, mais d'autres (Hébron, Débir) furent probablement réoccupées, après le retour des Israélites à Guilgal, par les peuplades auxquelles elles avaient appartenu.
