Plus il y a de péchés parmi le peuple, plus ces indignes serviteurs de Dieu sont satisfaits, car, par là, il arrive que le nombre des victimes à offrir augmente et par conséquent aussi la part qu'ils en retirent (Lévitique 6.26).
