Proverbes 14.8

חָכְמַ֣ת עָ֭רוּם הָבִ֣ין דַּרְכּ֑וֹ וְאִוֶּ֖לֶת כְּסִילִ֣ים מִרְמָֽה׃
The wisdom of the prudent is to think about his way, but the folly of fools is deceit.
La sagesse d'un homme habile est de prendre garde à sa voie ; mais la folie des insensés, c'est la fraude.

Le sage pèse soigneusement, par avance, la portée de ses actes et il ne s'engage pas dans une voie qui l'éloignerait de ce qui est bien et juste. L'insensé ne vise qu'à son propre intérêt et ne recule devant aucune injustice ; la tromperie finit par être le fond de son être et le mobile de toutes ses actions.
