23 à 27 Avantages de la vie des champs. Pourquoi s'entasser dans les villes ? Les richesses qui viennent s'y grouper à l'ombre du palais royal sont bien moins stables, que l'aisance qui règne dans les campagnes ; la terre produit d'elle-même de quoi nourrir des troupeaux grâce auxquels on a le vêtement, le vivre et, peut-être, le plaisir d'arrondir sa propriété.
