Qui marche dans l'intégrité. C'est la condition essentielle, qui contient en germe toutes les autres. L'intégrité est le contraire de la fraude et de la duplicité. Le cœur se donne tout entier au bien.

La vérité telle que..., hébreu : qui dit la vérité dans son cœur. Il ne la dit pas seulement des lèvres, mais il lui rend hommage en son cœur. Ami sûr et discret (verset 3), courageux dans son opposition au mal et dans son approbation du bien, fidèle à la parole donnée (verset 4), l'homme intègre est loyal en affaires et reste incorruptible (verset 5). Son intérêt ne saurait jamais le faire dévier de la fidélité à sa parole.
