1 Chroniques 19.19

Les vassaux de Hadadézer, se voyant battus par Israël, firent la paix avec David et lui furent assujettis ; et les Syriens ne voulurent plus secourir les Ammonites.
Tous les rois sous le pouvoir de Hadadézer voient qu’ils ont été battus par les Israélites. Alors ils font la paix avec David et se mettent sous son pouvoir. Et les Syriens ne veulent plus venir aider les Ammonites.
