Un gâteau cuit sur les pierres chaudes. Les pierres chauffées sur lesquelles on applique la pâte remplacent dans le désert les fours dont il a été parlé Lévitique 2.4 ; voir Genèse 18.6, note. Les Bédouins usent encore aujourd'hui de ce moyen.

Et il mangea... C'était un premier acte d'obéissance. Puis il se recoucha, fatigué de sa marche.
