World English Bible Therefore they asked of Yahweh further, "Is there yet a man to come here?" Yahweh answered, "Behold, he has hidden himself among the baggage."

Et ils consultèrent : sans doute par l'Urim et le Thummim qui était entre les mains du souverain sacrificateur.

Est-il venu... ? c'est-à-dire : Y a-t-il encore un Israélite présent qui se dérobe à nos yeux, et ou est-il ? Ils ne nomment pas Saül, peut-être pour donner plus de force encore à la réponse de l'Eternel.

Caché : dans le sentiment de la disproportion qu'il y avait entre ses capacités et le rôle qu'il allait être appelé à jouer.
