2 et 3 Anne fait ressortir, verset 2, trois traits du caractère de l'Eternel :

  • sa sainteté, en vertu de laquelle il aime le bien et hait le mal
  • son mode d'existence unique et absolu
  • sa bonté immuable, en vertu de laquelle le faible peut avec confiance s'appuyer sur lui (Rocher, Deutéronome 32.4).
