Le sens de cette glorieuse promesse est déjà exprimé par le Seigneur dans sa dernière prière, (Jean 17.21-24) c'est le triomphe complet sur le péché et sur le monde par l'union du fidèle avec Dieu en Christ. (Comparer Matthieu 19.28 ; Apocalypse 22.5)
