Apocalypse 8.7

Le premier sonna de la trompette. Et il y eut de la grêle et du feu mêlés de sang, qui furent jetés sur la terre ; et le tiers de la terre fut brûlé, et le tiers des arbres fut brûlé, et toute herbe verte fut brûlée.
2532 Le premier 4413 sonna 4537 5656 de la trompette. Et 2532 il y eut 1096 5633 de la grêle 5464 et 2532 du feu 4442 mêlés 3396 5772 de sang 129, 2532 qui furent jetés 906 5681 sur 1519 la terre 1093 ; et 2532 le tiers de la terre fut brûlé, et 2532 le tiers 5154 des arbres 1186 fut brûlé 2618 5648, et toute 3956 herbe 5528 verte 5515 fut brûlée 2618 5648.
Le premier fait sonner sa trompette. De la glace et du feu mélangés de sang tombent sur la terre. Le tiers de la terre brûle, le tiers des arbres brûle, et toute l’herbe verte brûle.

Le troisième ange sonna de la trompette : une étoile tomba alors du ciel. Certains prétendent qu'il s'agit d'un éminent gouverneur ; d'autres pensent que c'est une puissante personne qui a corrompu les églises de Christ... Les doctrines de l'évangile, les sources de la vie spirituelle, de la consolation et de la vigueur pour l’âme humaine, sont corrompues et rendues amères par un mélange d'erreurs dangereuses, de façon à mener les hommes à la ruine, alors qu’ils cherchaient à se rafraîchir.

Le quatrième ange sonna de la trompette : les grands luminaires du ciel, le soleil, la lune et les étoiles, furent obscurcis. Les guides et les dirigeants, placés au-dessus des peuples, doivent dispenser « la lumière spirituelle », par de bonnes influences et de bons exemples. Quand l'évangile est annoncé à un peuple, sans qu’il y ait de résultats positifs dans les cœurs et les vies, il s’ensuit de terribles jugements.

Dieu avertit par Sa Parole, par le biais de Ses serviteurs, en cherchant à toucher la conscience des hommes, ou en leur montrant « les signes des temps » ; si les hommes méprisent ces avertissements, ils en subissent, par leur propre faute, les terribles conséquences : la colère divine rend alors toute réprimande amère, et la vie elle-même est un fardeau.

Mais Dieu fixe en ce monde, les limites des Jugements les plus terribles. La corruption, de la doctrine et de l'adoration dans l'église, est à l’origine de grands jugements, présents et à venir, sur un peuple.

Avant que les trois autres trompettes ne sonnent, il y eut un avertissement solennel, au sujet des terribles calamités qui allaient suivre. Si de simples jugements célestes ne produisent aucun d'effet, l'église et le monde doivent en attendre de plus sévères ; quand Dieu viendra pour punir le monde, ses habitants trembleront devant Lui.

Que les pécheurs considèrent cet avertissement, à fuir la colère divine à venir ; que les croyants apprennent à évaluer leurs privilèges et à être reconnaissants ; qu'ils continuent patiemment à pratiquer le bien !
