Jésus-Christ a apporté la Paix, par son propre sacrifice ; dans tous les sens du terme, Christ était la Paix pour les Éphésiens : Il en était l'auteur, le centre, et la substance, Il unissait les Juifs croyants à l’Église.

À travers la personne, le sacrifice, et la médiation de Christ, les pécheurs peuvent désormais s’approcher de Dieu, leur Père ; ils sont amenés en Sa présence, ils peuvent lui offrir leur adoration et se placer à Son service, sous l'enseignement du Saint-Esprit, qui ne fait « qu’un » avec le Père et le Fils.

Christ, par Son sacrifice, nous a donné la possibilité de pouvoir venir à Dieu ; l'Esprit motive notre cœur pour nous approcher du Seigneur, Il nous donne la force pour venir à Lui, et donc la grâce de pouvoir ensuite servir notre Dieu !
