World English Bible who tell the seers, "Don't see!" and to the prophets, "Don't prophesy to us right things. Tell us pleasant things. Prophesy deceits.

Ils poussent l'insolence jusqu'à interdire aux prophètes de Jéhova de prophétiser. On ne doit pas supposer qu'ils prononcent ouvertement les paroles qui sont mises dans leur bouche. Esaïe exprime ici, comme 28.15, la pensée de leur cœur.

Des illusions : le bonheur, la paix, au lieu des châtiments prédits par Esaïe. comparez 1Rois 22.13-14 ; Jérémie 11.21 ; 14.13 et suivants.

      25 The king of Israel said, "Take Micaiah, and carry him back to Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king's son;
      26 and say, 'Thus says the king, "Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I return in peace."'"
      27 Micaiah said, "If you return at all in peace, Yahweh has not spoken by me." He said, "Listen, you peoples, all of you!"
