World English Bible Therefore Yahweh will wait, that he may be gracious to you; and therefore he will be exalted, that he may have mercy on you, for Yahweh is a God of justice. Blessed are all those who wait for him.

C'est pourquoi l'Eternel attend... Dieu ne pourra faire grâce qu'après que le peuple aura été purifié par la destruction de la masse endurcie et réduit au reste (verset 17).

Un Dieu juste : qui, par conséquent, ne pourra faire prévaloir la miséricorde qu'après qu'il aura opéré la purification par le jugement.

Tous ceux qui... : eux tous, mais eux seulement.
