Sans défaut : comme dans tous les autres sacrifices, sauf les offrandes volontaires.

Mâle : comme dans les sacrifices particulièrement solennels, tels que l'holocauste. Comparez l'ordonnance postérieure Lévitique 22.17-23

D'un an : cet âge est celui de la pleine vigueur de l'animal ; comparez Michée 6.6. Même ordonnance pour les agneaux offerts dans certains cas en holocauste. Ces prescriptions n'ont donc rien qui se rapporte spécialement à la Pâque. Il en est, autrement des suivantes.
