      Exode 16

      2 The whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron in the wilderness;
      8 Moses said, "Now Yahweh shall give you meat to eat in the evening, and in the morning bread to satisfy you; because Yahweh hears your murmurings which you murmur against him. And who are we? Your murmurings are not against us, but against Yahweh."
      9 Moses said to Aaron, "Tell all the congregation of the children of Israel, 'Come near before Yahweh, for he has heard your murmurings.'"

      3 The people were thirsty for water there; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, "Why have you brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us, our children, and our livestock with thirst?"
      4 Moses cried to Yahweh, saying, "What shall I do with these people? They are almost ready to stone me."

      Nombres 11

      1 The people were complaining in the ears of Yahweh. When Yahweh heard it, his anger was kindled; and Yahweh's fire burnt among them, and consumed some of the outskirts of the camp.
      2 The people cried to Moses; and Moses prayed to Yahweh, and the fire abated.
      3 The name of that place was called Taberah , because Yahweh's fire burnt among them.
      4 The mixed multitude that was among them lusted exceedingly: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, "Who will give us flesh to eat?
      5 We remember the fish, which we ate in Egypt for nothing; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlic;
      6 but now we have lost our appetite. There is nothing at all except this manna to look at."

      Nombres 14

      1 All the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night.
      2 All the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said to them, "Would that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would that we had died in this wilderness!
      3 Why does Yahweh bring us to this land, to fall by the sword? Our wives and our little ones will be a prey: wouldn't it be better for us to return into Egypt?"
      4 They said one to another, "Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt."

      Nombres 16

      Nombres 17

      3 The people strove with Moses, and spoke, saying, "We wish that we had died when our brothers died before Yahweh!
      4 Why have you brought the assembly of Yahweh into this wilderness, that we should die there, we and our animals?
      5 Why have you made us to come up out of Egypt, to bring us in to this evil place? It is no place of seed, or of figs, or of vines, or of pomegranates; neither is there any water to drink."

      Nombres 21

      5 The people spoke against God, and against Moses, "Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no bread, and there is no water; and our soul loathes this light bread."

      Psaumes 78

      19 Yes, they spoke against God. They said, "Can God prepare a table in the wilderness?
      20 Behold, he struck the rock, so that waters gushed out, and streams overflowed. Can he give bread also? Will he provide flesh for his people?"

      Matthieu 6

      25 Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
