6 à 14 Les tendres soins que l'Eternel prit de ce peuple misérable.

Dans ton sang : qui coulait parce que le cordon n'avait point été attaché.

Vis dans ton sang. Tout moribond que soit cet enfant, Dieu lui ordonne de vivre et de vivre dans ce sang même dont il est tout souillé (voir verset 9). L'ordre est répété pour faire ressortir la solennité du miracle sur lequel repose une telle existence. Ce miracle est, en effet, la base de tous ceux qui suivront.
